Dear Silvertown Community,

At Silvertown Events, our mission has always been to deliver exceptional participatory sports and lifestyle events across Malaysia. As we prepare for our upcoming calendar, including the highly anticipated KORGA Ultra Trail 2026, we are writing to share an important update regarding the future direction of our platform.

After careful review of our operational strategy and to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer experience, Silvertown Events has made the strategic decision to operate exclusively as a sole event organiser.

Moving forward, the silvertown.events platform will be dedicated entirely to hosting, managing, and ticketing our own in-house events. We will not be onboarding or listing events from third-party organisers.

What this means for our participants

By transitioning to a 100% direct-to-consumer model, we can guarantee:

• Uncompromising quality: Every event listed on our platform is fully managed and executed by our core team, ensuring a consistent, premium experience from the starting line to the finish.
• Enhanced payment security: Operating directly allows us to streamline our payment systems, providing you with a faster, safer, and more reliable checkout process.
• Direct support & accountability: In the event of changes, cancellations, or inquiries, you will deal directly with us. This means faster response times, simplified refund procedures, and no middleman.

A notice to fellow event organisers

While we previously explored the possibility of opening our platform to external organisers, we have chosen to close our third-party marketplace plans permanently. We wish our fellow organisers the very best and look forward to seeing the Malaysian sports community continue to thrive.

We are incredibly excited for this next chapter and are putting all our focus into making our upcoming events unforgettable. All updated operations are reflected in our revised Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy on our website.
